How you can help our cause

Make a Donation

Donations to Lifeline Broken Hill Country to Coast will help support the continuation of valuable services locally

Your donation will directly fund:

  • Suicide awareness and prevention

  • Face-to-face counselling services, including financial and gambling help

  • Volunteer training and support

  • Mental Health awareness training in the local community

  • Christmas toys for families who are struggling

Hosting a community fundraiser is an effective way for you to make a big difference in the lives of others by making a financial contribution to the work Lifeline BHC2C delivers in the community.

Be sure to choose Regional Community Care Ltd when nominating your charity so your donation can help support local lives and services.

Fundraising ideas:

  • Create your own event

  • Participate in an existing run or walk event and encourage friends and family to sponsor you

  • Encourage donations instead of Birthday gifts - facilitate through Raisely.

  • Host a Stress Down Day morning or afternoon tea

Once you have decided what you would like to do, it is important to get in contact with us. We will have a chat with you about your event, offer ways we might be able to assist and once your event is approved, we will issue you with an Authority to Fundraise so that you can collect money on behalf of Lifeline.

Volunteer With Us

See the impact you make in your local community

Volunteers are at the core of Lifeline Broken Hill Country to Coast service delivery. As a volunteer at Lifeline, your time is valued and appreciated and full training is provided. Volunteers are always welcome at our retail stores, garage/tip shops, warehouses, Lifeline Connect Centres and events. If you are interested in giving back to your community, meeting new people, learning new skills or just time out from your regular day, then please call 08 8087 7525

Connect Centre Volunteer

The volunteers not only provide information but act as a low key 'triage' for service delivery agencies. An extensive database of service providers gives up to date information on services, programs and deliverers.

Retail Volunteer

There are many varied jobs at our shops and warehouses, such as truck/van drivers, cashier, rag cutter/sorter, shop assistant etc.

Events Volunteer

Lifeline Broken Hill Country to Coast are involved in a variety of events throughout the year.  We are always grateful for volunteers to help on the day.
